Vote by Tuesday for City Races, Ballot Measures
11/06/2023
Vote by Tuesday for city races, ballot measures In this year's election, Aurora voters will fill seats for Mayor and City Council Wards IV, V and VI and two At-Large positions, as well as vote on four local ballot measures. Learn more about ballot measures at AuroraGov.org/2023Elections, and view coverage of the latest municipal candidates forums at AuroraTV.org. Ballots were mailed in October to all registered voters, and they must be received by 7 p.m. Election Day, Nov. 7, to be counted. To ensure ballots arrive on time, voters are advised at this time not to send them via mail but to submit them to a 24-hour drop box or Voter Service and Polling Center. Voter Service and Polling Centers are open in Arapahoe, Adams and Douglas counties. Visit your county’s elections website for locations and hours: ArapahoeVotes.gov, AdamsVotes.com or DouglasVotes.com. Anyone who did not receive a mail ballot, needs a replacement ballot or needs to register or request to vote in person should go to a Voter Service and Polling Center. Voters may check the status of their ballot by visiting GoVoteColorado.gov and clicking on "Check my mail ballot status" or by registering for Ballot Trax through your county's elections website. The city will not host an Election Day drive-through, drop-off line at the Aurora Municipal Center. However, Arapahoe and Adams County voters may instead drop off their ballot at the box located on the circle drive in front of the Aurora Central Library, 14949 E. Alameda Parkway. Links to other ballot drop-off locations in each county are located in the Voter Resources section at AuroraGov.org/Elections. Election Night results and live coverage For the latest municipal election results, tune in to special election-night coverage on AuroraTV starting at 7 p.m. Nov. 7: Comcast 8 or 880 AuroraTV.org New AuroraTV app for iOS, Android, Roku, Amazon Fire and Apple TV Updated results will also be available at AuroraGov.org.
