Environmental Records

The state of Colorado is the regulatory authority for above ground and underground storage tanks. Information can be found on their website. Tri-County Health Department regulates septic systems, landfills, meth labs, lead paint and mold.

The Planning and Development Services Department retains some records pertaining to environmental conditions within the city and adjacent to our boundaries. The majority of the records in our environmental files were sent to the city as a courtesy and are not mandated unless the city owns the property.

Please email planning@auroragov.org or call 303.739.7000 if you have questions about environmental records.
