Usually meets at the Aurora History Museum, 15051 E. Alameda Parkway on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.However, Due to the current COVID-19 situation, meetings are held virtually.  For the most current information regarding meeting dates and times, click on the Boards & Commissions Calendar button.          


To review and make recommendations to City Council regarding potential landmark status for historical sites, districts and other properties for the educational, cultural and economic benefit of Aurora citizens. 


Must be an Aurora resident and registered voter. Five members shall be professional members with an interest, competence or knowledge of historic preservation, professional experiences in the disciplines of history, architecture, historic architecture, architectural history or archaeology.
