Aurora History Museum's Grand Celebration fundraising event
The Aurora History Museum commemorates three milestones this year with a Grand Celebration event in honor of the 25th Annual Festival of Wreaths, the 45th Anniversary of the founding of the Aurora History Museum, the 10th Anniversary of the Restoration of Trolley Trailer 610 and the Ruth Fountain Gallery.
• Saturday, Nov. 16
• 3 to 6 p.m.
• Aurora History Museum, 15051 E. Alameda Parkway
The event's proceeds will go towards a new curatorial storage facility. As the museum has grown, there is a critical need for a new storage facility to sustain the long-term preservation, conservation and care of Aurora's history for future generations. A portion of the funding will also support the museum's education programs and community events.
