The shelter will be closed for a department event on Wednesday, May 14th. We will resume normal business hours on Thursday, May 15th at 10:30a.m. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
New Aurora Animal Shelter
The city of Aurora is in the design phase for a new, state-of-the-art animal shelter, with an anticipated opening in 2028. The location is TBA. Stay tuned for updates on this page as plans progress.
