
Celebrate America’s Independence Day with the city of Aurora’s 4th of July Spectacular event at 6 p.m. Friday, July 4, at the Aurora Municipal Center’s Great Lawn, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway.
Live musical performances start at 6:30 p.m. with tunes from Ninety Percent 90s, followed by Starling Circus Acts and ending with Groove ‘N Motion. The event will conclude with a half-hour fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. that will light up the Colorado sky.
Aurora’s 4th of July Spectacular is a free event, and guests are welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy out on the lawn. A variety of local food and craft vendors will also be available on site. Patrons must have cash or card on hand, as there will be no ATM available at the event.
Free on-site parking will be available on the premises on a first-come, first-served basis. Event parking will be available on the east side parking lot in front of the Aurora Municipal Center building, on the west side parking lot in front of the Aurora courthouse building and in the lower south parking lot in front of the Great Lawn. There will be signage on-site to guide guests to the appropriate spaces to park. Attendees can also take the R-Line to the Aurora Metro Station stop and take a short walk up to the event site.
