Construction begins today on a major remodeling project at the Martin Luther King Jr. Library, 9898 E. Colfax Ave., made possible through $2.5 million in federal funding secured through government appropriations process for community projects led by Congressman Jason Crow. The work is scheduled to be completed by fall 2025.

Aurora Public Library and the Aurora Fox Arts Center launched “One Book, One Aurora: From Page to Stage,” a community-wide initiative encouraging residents to read Mark Haddon’s acclaimed novel, “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time,” and to experience the Aurora Fox’s stage production of the novel, running from March 21 to April 13. The program features a series of engaging events aimed at fostering community connection and promoting awareness and support for individuals in the autistic community through inclusive programming and partnerships.
