Usually meets in the Fletcher Room, 1st Floor, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway on the

To advise city council as to the concerns of veterans relating to transportation, housing, employment and other areas affecting veterans in the city. Make recommendations to city council of solutions to these issues and concerns. Serve as a source of information regarding resources and services available to veterans. Exercise other powers and duties as may be assigned to by city council.
Must be an Aurora resident, registered voter and honorably discharged from the U.S. Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force or Coast Guard or hold veteran status for service as a Merchant Mariner.
Number of members: 11 voting members and 1 non-voting alternate member
