Plan Submittals
All civil plan reviews are conducted electronically. To submit a set of civil plans to the city for review, call 303.739.7457 to set up a pre-submittal meeting. Applicants will be advised at that time what information to bring to the meeting.
Following the pre-submittal meeting, the applicant will be emailed a login and password to access the online system where civil plan and report documents may be uploaded. When plans are determined to be complete, an invoice will be emailed back to the applicant. This invoice may be paid online or in person at the Cashier's Office. Upon receipt of payment, city staff will begin the review process, which essentially follows the previous paper submittal review process. Review comments, however, will be available online once the reviews are complete. An email will notify the applicant when the comments may be downloaded.
The applicant may submit the second round of documents online for review once the comments are addressed. A "signature set" will be requested for the third submittal, which will consist of two PDF civil plan and report document sets. One of the PDF sets will be electronically sealed, signed and "locked" by the engineer of record. The second set will contain the engineer of record's signature but no seal. In lieu of a seal for this second set, a note is required indicating the second set is a facsimile of the signed and sealed PDF set. City staff then will sign the second PDF set.
The applicant may log in to access a detailed online applicant guide on the electronic submittal system available. For questions, contact the Plan Submittal Desk at 303.739.7335 or [email protected]. If you have engineering questions regarding your application, please call the Engineer-On-Call at 303.739.7575.
