Please be advised of the following updated schedule and modified local westbound detour route for the full closure of the East Colfax Avenue/I-70 Frontage Road from Gun Club Road to Powhaton Road for the Interstate 70 Aerotropolis Parkway Interchange infrastructure improvement project. The closure will occur from 7 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, through approximately 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14. The recommended detour routes include taking I-70 between exits 289 and 292, taking the recommended local detour route for eastbound traffic via East Sixth Avenue, or following new detour signs for a westbound detour route via Alameda Avenue instead of Sixth Avenue.
