
The city’s Community Engagement Division, in partnership with Moeller Graf Community Association Law, is hosting its next HOA 101 series for current HOA board members, and anyone interested in learning more about how homeowners’ associations work.
The free series takes place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 21 and 28, at the Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway, Aurora Room. Attendance at all three sessions is encouraged but not required.
The topics that will be covered in this series include:
• Covenant Enforcement (Wednesday, April 8): Learn all that you need to know about enforcing covenants, including nonpayment of fines, fees and dues.
• Governing Documents (Tuesday, April 21): Find out the best ways to keep your governing documents up to date, including how and when to update them, how to integrate rental restrictions and more.
• Board Member 101 (Tuesday, April 28): Discover the best practices for being an effective HOA board member.
