Volunteer Expo

Connect with local causes at Aurora’s Volunteer Expo
Posted on 04/28/2026

The city of Aurora’s Volunteer Center invites community members to its annual Volunteer Expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2, and Tuesday, May 5, at the Aurora Municipal Center Lobby, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway. The free, open-house event is open to all and does not require registration.

The expo brings together 46 city programs and local nonprofits in one location, making it easy to explore volunteer opportunities that match attendees’ interests, skills and availability. Participating organizations will vary between the two dates; attendees are encouraged to review the schedule in advance at AuroraGov.org/Volunteer. Opportunities include supporting youth and family services, neighborhood cleanups, community events and more.

“This event is a great opportunity for residents to connect with causes they care about and make a meaningful difference,” said Chad Angell, Aurora’s volunteer program administrator. “Whether you have a few hours a month or more time to give, there are flexible ways for everyone to get involved.”

Attendees may drop in at any time during event hours to meet with participating organizations, ask questions and sign up for volunteer roles.

This event supports Aurora’s strategic outcome to be known as a place that connects and engages residents in activities that build stronger community bonds.
