Enjoy artwork at Central Library from local artist Juls Mendoza's exhibit "FRONTERA - Tesoros de mi Infancia," in partnership with Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art. Juls Mendoza's "FRONTERA - Tesoros de mi Infancia" explores a colorful and imaginative childhood inspired by the artist's youth while growing up in and between the border cities of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico and El Paso, Texas. Mendoza is a local multidisciplinary artist who addresses the intersections of cultural heritage, community and social justice in his large scale, figurative artwork.
