Closure/Change in Hours Notice:

The city of Aurora centers and facilities will be closed on Friday, Jan. 16, for the first of four planned 2026 furlough days.

List of centers closed:
- Aurora Reservoir
- Recreation Centers (ACAA, Central, Moorhead and Southeast)
- Expo Community Center
- Nature Centers (Plains Conservation, Morrison and Senac)
Preschools

Golf Courses (Aurora Hills, Meadow Hills, Murphy Creek, Saddle Rock and Springhill) will be open on this day.

Dedication & Development Criteria Manual

The City of Aurora Parks, Recreation, and Open Space (PROS) Department is initiating a process to evaluate and identify improvements and updates to the 2021 PROS Dedication & Development Criteria Manual (Manual) that guides the planning, design, construction, management, and operation of the city’s PROS sites and facilities.
