Aurora Amateur at Meadow Hills concludes with three new champions

The Aurora Amateur at Meadow Hills crowned three new champions in 2026.  

On Sunday, Sept. 20, three players from different divisions of the tournament played outstanding golf to win their respective titles. 

Jared Jackson won the Net Division with a net total 7-under par over two days of golf. He did it in fine fashion after winning a two-hole playoff over Ryan Meissner and James Miner who also posted 7-under par after 36 holes. It was Jackson’s first Net Championship.  

The Gross Division came down to the final hole. Scott Kuhloie made a strong push down the stretch, with three birdies in the final four holes to edge out Keith Abbott.  

Kuhloie got up and down from behind the ninth green, to secure his first Gross Division title by carding rounds of 70 and 73, finishing 3-over par.  

The Championship Division started the second round as a three-man race between Scott Crawford, Kyle Colen and Andre Dumonteil. In the end, it was Crawford who pulled ahead with a late eagle, par, birdie stretch on holes six through eight.  

He secured his first Aurora Amateur title after firing rounds of 67 and 68, finishing the championship at 5-under par.
