Join us for a free, family-friendly Open Day!

Centennial House (1671 Galena St)

Centennial House is a Queen Anne style home. It is the oldest of the nine remaining houses built by Donald Fletcher for his speculative community east of Denver. See inside the late 19th century home, explore the history and play yard games. Stop by anytime we are open and plan to stay 30 minutes to an hour.


We will also be offering hour-long walking tours of other historic houses on the street with the September and October open days.

Saturday, June 20. 3 to 6 p.m.

Sunday, August 9. 9 a.m. to noon.

Sunday, September 6. 3 to 6 p.m.

DeLaney Farm (170 S Chambers Rd)

Come tour the Historic DeLaney Farm and learn about homesteading and early Aurora History.
 
The DeLaneys were Irish immigrants who homesteadded here in the late 19th century. Come tour their historic farm, learn about life in the plains of Colorado. There will be crafts, snacks and scavenger hunts in the education barn, and tours of the Gully House and Round Barn. Plan to spend 45 to 90 minutes here. There is a port-a-potty on site.

Saturday, August 8. 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Saturday, September 5. Noon to 3 p.m.

Sunday, October 11. 9 a.m. to noon.
