Six Things To Do at the Aurora Center for Active Adults in November 2025

Get ready for another month of programming to be thankful for at the ACAA. 

MAT YOGA
Take part in a traditional yoga class that includes the eight limbs of classical yoga, including conscious breathing, gentle yoga postures, relaxation and mindfulness meditation.
Mondays, 11 a.m. to noon
Tuesdays,1 to 2 p.m.
Drop-in; included with entry or membership

STEP AND MOVE
Take part in a workout that improves your cardio endurance and burns calories. Each class starts with simple dance moves that builds into more complex dance sequences. You’ll leave each class feeling energized and accomplished. 
Mondays, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday, 9 to 10 a.m.
Fridays, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. (Low-Impact)
Drop-in; included with entry or membership

ADULT DAY SERVICES-AGING REIMAGINED
Aging in place is not only possible, but it’s also affordable. Learn about Adult Day Services. What is it, who benefits from it and why is it the most cost-effective service in the aging continuum?

BEGINNER CROCHET
Learn the basics of crocheting in a fun and relaxed setting. This class covers essential stitches, simple patterns and techniques to get you started on your first project. No experience is necessary.
