Aurora Water takes great pride in the quality of our drinking water and prioritizes the health and safety of every resident. Aurora Water’s monitoring program – which is far more extensive than required – demonstrates that the quality of the city’s drinking water remains high and meets and exceeds all federal and state drinking water standards, including the Safe Drinking Water Act.
Each year, our dedicated team conducts more than 85,000 tests system wide to ensure high-quality and safe drinking water for homes and businesses.
To safeguard your health and ensure excellence in our drinking water, Aurora Water tests for many other substances that are not regulated or required.
Our Annual Water Quality Report
The annual Water Quality Report is a requirement of all community water systems to ensure our customers are informed about their water source, potential contaminants and any drinking water standards violations. Results of our testing can be found in the annual Water Quality Report at
