Aurora Public Library is thrilled to return the annual Mini-Con in person for the first time since 2019 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at Aurora Central Library, 14949 E. Alameda Parkway.

Aurora Mini-Con is a free festival featuring comics, cosplay and all things pop culture, and this year’s event will be bigger than ever before. Mini-Con 2023 will also include a Chaos Draft Tournament of the popular card game Magic. Registration for the tournament is required and can be accessed at AuroraGov.org/Mini-Con.

This free family friendly event will include superheroes, comic-themed crafts and activities, panel discussions, exhibits, gaming and a cosplay costume contest. This year’s event will also feature over 50 vendors, multiple food trucks, special guests and much more!

“We are excited to host Mini-Con in person since the pandemic and bring creativity, fun and connection to our community through the world of comics, anime and gaming,” said Midori Clark, director of Library and Cultural Services. “Aurora Mini-Con provides a fun and safe space for people of all ages to express their passion for pop culture and share the hobbies that bring joy to their lives.”

Admission is free, and there is no need to register to attend the event. For a complete list of exhibitors, vendors and activities, visit AuroraGov.org/Mini-Con.
