Altitude Sports Radio hosted their second annual golf tournament at Meadow Hills on Aug. 22 with the Avalanche Alumni Association on hand.
Former Avalanche greats were in town and all the big names showed up — Joe Sakic, Peter Forsberg and Milan Hejduk.
A portion of proceeds from the event went towards the Avs Alumni Association and their support for men’s mental health awareness.
The Colorado Alumni Faceoff took place following the golf tournament on Aug. 25 between the Colorado NHL Alumni Association and Denver Pioneers Alumni at Magness Arena in Denver.
The Avs Alumni rallied late in the contest but came up short against the Pios 8-7 in a shootout loss.
