Aurora Water is sensitive to the needs of our community and recognizes some customers may have difficulty paying their water bills at times due to a medical crisis, job loss or other challenges. We created Aurora Water Cares to provide bill payment assistance so our limited-income customers experiencing challenges don’t need to worry about how they are going to take a shower, do laundry or wash the dishes.

About Aurora Water Cares

Aurora Water Cares helps families who are past due on their water bills with up to $500 in assistance once a year (Oct 1. through Sept. 30) with a limit of four awards. Payments are made directly to the utility on the customer's behalf.

How to Get Help

If you need help paying your bill, call Aurora Water Cares at 1.833.55WATER (1.833.559.2837) to get information about eligibility. Representatives will direct you to local agencies that can help you fill out an application and get bill payment assistance. Email the completed application, a copy of your photo ID and your recent water bill to [email protected].

Donate

Many of us take for granted the ability to brew a pot of coffee or sink into a nice hot bath. But some of our neighbors struggle to pay for water to run the dishwasher or flush the toilet. To financially support Aurora Water Cares, customers can do one of the following:

• Online donations may be made through the online water bill payment system by clicking on the "Donation to Aurora Water Cares assistance program" button. For more information on the online billing system, click here.
  
  
• Mail a donation by filling out the section on the bottom of the water bill and returning it with a payment.
  
  
• Stop by the Cashier's Office at the Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway.
  
  
• Non-Aurora Water customers may donate by calling 1.833.55WATER (1.833.559.2837).

Contributions start as low as $1. Your donation may be tax deductible and will help your neighbors maintain water service in their homes during challenging times.
