The Water-wise Landscape Award recognizes individuals and businesses that are committed to conserving Aurora's water resources and protecting the environment by using attractive landscaping and irrigation systems or techniques that minimize water waste. Winning landscapes represent the beauty and resiliency of our natural environment.

The Water-wise Landscape Award is a way to recognize the hard work put into these landscapes. In addition to bragging rights, winners may receive up to a $100 credit on their water bill. Submission requirements:

  • Nominees must be Aurora Water customers
  • Area must be a front or side yard visible to the public
  • No more than half of the landscaped area can be high-water turf
  • All photo submissions may be used to promote future Aurora Water conservation programs

The submission process for 2020 is now closed. Applications and five high-resolution photos were due August 15, 2020. Winners were notified on Sept. 1, 2020.

If you think you have an award-winning landscape, or if you want to nominate a friend or neighbor who does, fill out the form below for next year's award. Good luck!
