Community Engagement and Outreach interns

Summer is here, and we couldn't be more excited to get out in the community and connect with Aurora Water customers!

This season marks the launch of Aurora Water’s Community Engagement & Outreach team, where we hope to build relationships, share information and create opportunities for meaningful conversations with the people we serve every day. Water is an essential part of our lives, and this summer we are looking forward to helping our customers learn more about where their water comes from and how we can all work together as a community to conserve this precious resource.  We are excited to be joining our residents out in the community at a variety of events.

Meet the Aurora Water Community Engagement interns that could be coming to an event near you.

“Hi! My name is Lucas, and I am a summer intern for the Aurora Water Community Outreach team. I enjoy going to the gym and playing video games with friends. Learning about water conservation is a passion of mine and I hope to spread awareness through my internship.”

“Hi, Cindilou here. I love movies, music, trying restaurants and the news! I am here because water is essential to live and we can all do something to lower our usage. I will commit to showers and no baths.”

“Hello there! I'm Nour, one of the Community Engagement interns this summer. When I'm not working, you'll usually find me with my nose in a good book or exploring Colorado's trails one hike at a time. This internship has allowed me to combine both of my interests of sustainability and community while learning more about Aurora’s water supply and treatment process!”

If you see us at an upcoming event, please stop by and say hello! We'd love to meet you, hear your thoughts, answer your questions and share more about  Aurora Water.

Throughout the summer, you can find our team at the variety of events below. Keep an eye out as we will be continuously updating the list! You can invite the Aurora Water Community Engagement and Outreach team to your event by emailing us at [email protected]. We can't wait to connect with you this summer and help make every drop count.
