Regional Anti-Violence Enforcement Network

“To forensically identify and focus investigative, prosecutorial and community resources to remove and disrupt violent criminals, gangs and drug traffickers that plague our neighborhoods.”

R.A.V.E.N. is a multi-jurisdictional regional network comprised of:
o Investigators
o Detectives
o Agents
o Analysts
o Forensic Auditors
o Laboratory Personnel
o Researchers

Since violent crimes do not have jurisdictional boundaries, R.A.V.E.N. now has the ability to utilize various venues and jurisdictions for prosecuting cases. Having strong partnerships with the various judicial districts, attorney general’s office, and the US Attorney’s office, provides prosecutorial avenues that best serves the community as a whole. With this new partnership, we can now begin linking cases across the entire regional area.

R.A.V.E.N. is comprised of the following agencies:

Aurora Police Department

Denver Police Department

United States Attorney’s Office District of Colorado

Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives

Homeland Security Investigations
Colorado Air National Guard

Rocky Mountain High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (RMHIDTA)
