Five-O Trailer

APD's commitment to a New Way of community engagement includes both traditional and non-traditional outreach initiatives. When it comes to youth engagement, we kicked things up a notch. Meet our new FIVE-O activity trailer.

The name: FIVE-O is an acronym for Fun Interactive Vehicle for Engagement Opportunity

The basics:
the FIVE-O is a 22-foot, custom-built, gaming and community resource trailer providing youth and officers with an opportunity to engage in fun, safe spaces while building new relationships.

The activities: the FIVE-O is full of cool stuff - video games, trivia, and arts/crafts along with snacks and giveaway items. Free community resource also available to engage youth in safe/healthy activities.

The cool part: the FIVE-O activity trailer is a FREE community resource! Planning a community event/block party - we’d like to be there. School field trips - yup, we can do those too. We're open to other ideas, too! The FIVE-O will also host surprise pop ups events at parks throughout Aurora this summer.

Requesting the FIVE-O trailer: requests for APD’s FIVE-O Trailer are reviewed as they are received and evaluated based on available personnel and assets. The Community Relations Section will make every effort to fill as many request as possible, however, number of requests, time of year, and location are also factors impacting ability to participate.
