The Aurora Animal Shelter hosts quarterly vaccine clinics throughout the year. Our clinic offers a variety of vaccines for dogs and cats, microchips and Aurora pet licensing.

Please check below for event dates, vaccines offered and pricing.

Unfortunately, the shelter no longer offers vaccination walk-ins. Vaccinations can only be done during the vaccine clinics.

May 20h Vaccine Clinic

Join us Saturday, May 20th for our quarterly vaccine clinic. A ticket will be required to partake in the clinic. The first 80 clients in line at the shelter will receive a ticket. Please be advised that the clinic begins at 9 a.m., however, we will begin passing out tickets as early as 8 a.m. It could take several hours before your number is called as we anticipate the clinic to end at 1 p.m.

Please understand that you will be standing outside with no shelter nor seating. Be prepared for unpredictable weather. All dogs must remain on a leash no longer than 6 ft., and cats must remain in a carrier.

Clients are welcome to pay via card, cash, or check. 
A purchase of a pet license is mandatory of Aurora pets receiving a rabies vaccine. Please see below for a list of vaccines/services we offer along with the pricing.

We accept cash, check or card. Please be aware that a purchase of a pet license is required for City of Aurora residents who purchase a rabies vaccination.

*To receive a 3-year rabies vaccine, proof of previous rabies vaccine that is no more than 6 months expired is required.


A pet license is required by law for all pets living within the Aurora city limits. A pet license can only be issued or renewed with proof of a current rabies vaccine. Pet licenses are available for purchase during the vaccine clinic. During the vaccination clinics, it is mandatory for Aurora residents to purchase a pet license for each pet receiving a rabies vaccination.
