are excited to share upcoming events that you won’t want to miss! Here’s a preview of what’s to come:
CITY OF AURORA’S 2026 CONTRACTOR EDUCATION AND NETWORKING SUMMIT
The city of Aurora invites contractors, consultants and suppliers interested in bidding on city contracts to the 2026 Contractor Education and Networking Summit.
The event, designed specifically for businesses seeking to learn how to do business with the city through procurement and contracting opportunities, will include educational presentations from several city of Aurora divisions, including Purchasing, Risk Management, the Building Division/Permitting and Tax and Licensing, with a special feature on upcoming contracting opportunities. Additionally, various city departments will host informational tables to talk with attendees and share additional upcoming opportunities.
Representatives from Colorado APEX Accelerators, the Center for Community Wealth and the Aurora-South Metro Small Business Development Center will also be available to provide support and resources for businesses pursuing government contracts.

2025 Business Opportunity Fair
The City of Aurora 2025 Business Opportunity Fair drew a record 300 attendees, doubling last year's turnout. Thanks to all the businesses that participated and helped make this event a success!
The business fair helped connect contractors and vendors interested in doing business with the city, providing insight into upcoming opportunities in design consulting, construction, operations and maintenance services. Check this page for updates on next year’s Business Opportunity Fair.
