HOA 101 Series 

In partnership with Altitude Community Law, the city offers this free, three-part educational series designed for current Homeowners Association (HOA) board members and anyone interested in how homeowners associations work. This program aims to empower neighborhood leaders, strengthen community connections and support vibrant neighborhoods across Aurora

Our next 2026 series is taking place on the dates below at the Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway, Aurora Room. Please use the link below to register:

• In-depth Insurance (Sept. 10): Presentation by David Firmin. 

• Termination/Merger/Separation of Communities (Sept. 24): Presentation by Jenny Shamoon

• Board vs. Owner Powers (Sept. 30): Presented by Arianne Gronowski

Space is limited to 50 participants per class. While attending all three classes is preferred, it is not required. To register for the 2026 program once it is announced or if you have questions, please email [email protected].

Register your neighborhood/business/community group with the city

The city launched a new customer portal in 2024 at DevPortal.AuroraGov.org. By registering your neighborhood, business or community group of three people or more through this city portal, you will receive notices regarding nearby proposed developments, have the opportunity to comment on those applications, and qualify to apply for neighborhood grant opportunities or book meeting room space at libraries and fire stations for free. Registration for the portal is free. Emails registered will also be added to the city's distribution list for the weekly This is Aurora newsletter for the latest city news, updates and events.
