Building a stronger, more connected Aurora
As the city of Aurora continues to grow, improving and maintaining transportation infrastructure remains a top priority.
In 2018, the Aurora City Council approved funding for more than two dozen transportation priority projects based on congestion reduction, first- and last-mile station connections, multi-modal connectivity, safety and cost per daily trip served.
Our objectives were to:
- Alleviate traffic, backups and delays
- Enhance public safety
- Improve connectivity for vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians
We're proud to report that most of the projects are now finished. Check out the work that we have completed in the last eight years to help build a better Aurora.
