Do you still have that old couch sitting around or the broken TV stand? The city of Aurora has partnered with Keesen Landscape Management for a free curbside, residential large-item bulk pickup program.
Program dates and eligibility
This program will take place Oct. 1 - 31 or until city funds allocated for this program run out (whatever comes first).
All residents of Aurora are eligible to participate in this free curbside, residential large-item bulk pickup program; requests will be addressed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration is required, which opens Oct. 1.
Program limitations
This service is at no cost for residents; however, the city has set budget limitations for each participating household ($200) to serve as many households as possible until funds for the program are depleted.
Example of acceptable items:
Household appliances (with refrigerants removed), water heaters, bathtubs, toilets, lumber, furniture, bicycles, tires, car batteries, mattresses, and shrubs/trees
Example of unacceptable items:
Any form of liquids or hazardous waste
