Central and Tallyn's Reach libraries will have reduced hours effective Saturday, Oct. 14. Both libraries will align their hours with the rest of Aurora Public Library branches, operating from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and will be closed on Sundays. Please plan your next library visit accordingly.
The decision was made due to current staffing shortages and following a careful review of library visitation patterns that showed Sundays represent a small percentage of visits to these branches. The change in operating hours is temporary, with the possibility of returning to expanded hours in 2024, pending staffing levels.
All reservations for meeting rooms after 6 p.m. will be honored. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
