Officers responded to a crash near East Alameda Parkway and South Buckley Road on April 4 at about 12:15 p.m. The subsequent investigation revealed a man was crossing over Alameda Parkway on the east side of Buckley Road, against the crossing signal, when he was struck by a Suzuki trash truck traveling eastbound.
