Free Mulch Days
Mark your calendar for our 2023 Free Loader Days. The city is offering FREE mulch on select Saturdays from 8 a.m. – noon. Bring your pick-up truck or open trailer along with your own shovels, pitchforks and containers to serve yourself. Mulch will be available while supplies last at the intersection of East Hampden Ave., and Dawson St.
Free mulch will be available on the following Saturdays:
- April 22
- May 20
- June 17
- July 15
- August 19
Mulch is a gardener’s best friend as it helps reduce weeding, protects soil from erosion and helps retains soil moisture.
