Please be patient as it may take our staff member a few days to return your call.  Messages will be returned in the order that they were received. Please be advised that the return call may take several minutes, as we will need to gather your contact information, pet information and payment information.

Please arrive to your appointment on time at the Aurora Animal Shelter, 15750 E. 32nd Ave., Aurora, CO 80011. Please be advised that if you are more than 15 minutes late we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate you and we will not issue a refund.

Patrons are asked to wear a mask and remain in their cars with their pets.  The person on the appointment must be present and will be asked to provide a valid photo ID. Members of our staff will greet you in the parking lot and will take your pet from you. Please be sure that your dogs are leashed and cats are in a carrier.

VACCINATION CLINICS

Calico with vaccines
The Aurora Animal Shelter hosts quarterly vaccine clinics throughout the year. During the vaccine clinics pet owners are required to keep their cats in a carrier and dogs must be securely controlled at all times on a leash. If you are bringing your dog on a flexi leash, we ask that you keep it locked and no longer than 6 feet.

Please check below for event dates and vaccine pricing.

Unfortunately, the shelter no longer offers vaccination walk-ins. Vaccinations can only be done during the vaccine clinics.

Microchips are a great tool to reunite lost pets with their owners. If a lost pet is taken to a veterinary's office or an animal shelter, the pet can be scanned for a microchip. The veterinary's office or animal shelter can then contact the microchip company to get owner information and notify the owner that they have their pet.
