Subdivision Plat Checklist

Real Property Services reviews subdivision plats and site plans that have been submitted to the Planning & Development Services Department. Real Property checks to make sure that the plats are prepared according to City Code and state statutes. We have taken these requirements and created a checklist to assist you in their preparation. The checklist, along with subdivision maps and plat amendments, can be downloaded below using Adobe Acrobat.

Please discard any previous checklists, and adopt this for all future submittals. For further assistance, please call 303.739.7300.

Submittal Requirements

Based on timelines set by the Planning & Development Services Department for all projects, Real Property has broken down its reviews for the various types of projects and created checklists. These checklists will give you information on the number of reviews or submittals your specific type of project will be given and what must be included on each of those submittals in order to meet these new time lines.

These checklists are geared mainly toward the surveyor or CAD operator who is preparing the document. The information given in the attached Submittal Packet is for Real Property Services only. You'll need to check with the other various city departments to see what they will require. If these technical requirements are not included in your submittals, your project may be rejected. This could cause major delays in obtaining building permits and cause the developer to pay additional reapplication fees.

If you have questions regarding any submittals required by Real Property, please contact Public Works at 303.739.7300 during regular business hours.
