As long as there is an outstanding warrant,
a defendant is subject to arrest. |
A warrant is issued because you have failed to appear in court to either ask for an extension for a fine/ other court ordered requirements or you have not appeared for a court date.
If a fine only is due to cancel the warrant, it can be paid in FULL, cash, credit card, money order, without a court appearance.
If you cannot pay your fine in full or the case has gone to warrant for another requirement not being met, you must appear in court weekdays at 1:30 p.m. to see a judge.
If you are unsure if you have a warrant or you have a warrant and don’t know if it is payable, please call 303.739.6444 to speak with a court clerk.
Failure to take action on the warrant may result in arrest.
