FINES AND FEES ARE DUE THE DAY OF SENTENCING

Please Note: Payments cannot be accepted for other courts or jurisdictions.

How can I pay my court fine?

Pay by Credit Card Online – If your case is eligible, you can pay your fines online by clicking the Pay Court Fines button above.

Pay by Credit Card Over the Telephone – If your case is eligible, you can pay your fines by calling 303.739.6444, select option 6 to pay your fines over the telephone.

Pay In-Person – If your case is eligible, you may pay in-person at Aurora Municipal Court, 14999 East Alameda Parkway, Aurora, CO 80012, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding court holidays and court closures. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Google Pay, Apple Pay, cash, check or money orders made payable to City of Aurora.

Pay by Mail – If your case is eligible, you may send a check or money order made payable to City of Aurora Municipal Court to: Aurora Municipal Court, 14999 East Alameda Parkway, Aurora, CO 80012. When paying by mail, please include your summons number with your payment to ensure your payment is credited properly. Please note: Temporary and out-of-state checks are NOT accepted.

What payment options are available?

If you are unable to pay the fines and fees in full the day of sentencing and you can be pay the full amount within twenty (20) business days, you will sign a promise to pay Courtesy Extension agreement with no additional fee.

If you cannot pay the balance in twenty (20) business days, you may request a monthly payment schedule. You must complete a financial affidavit and speak with the Stay of Execution (SOE) Officer. The SOE Officer will determine, after review of the financial affidavit, if you are eligible to be placed on a payment schedule. Payment schedules incur an additional $25.00 fee and you will sign a payment schedule for monthly payments.

What are the office hours for the Stay of Execution office?

The Stay of Execution office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Whom do I contact after appearing virtually (video-conferencing) regarding my assessed court fines and fees?

Payments for virtual court are accepted online, over the telephone, in-person, by mail or in the secure drop box. For payment information, please call 303.739.6421, select option 7 or email [email protected].
