Utah Indoor Pool Important Dates

 

Join us at our upcoming lifeguard hiring events:
Wednesday, April 24, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. - Southeast Recreation Center, 25400 E. Alexander Drive
Saturday, April 27, 1 to 5 p.m. - Central Recreation Center,18150 E. Vassar Place
Saturday, May 4, 1 to 5 p.m. - Moorhead Recreation Center, 2390 Havana St.
Sunday, May 5, noon to 4 p.m. - Utah Indoor Pool, 1800 S. Peoria St.

There will be application assistance, on-site interviews and swim assessments (bring a suit) for those interested in securing a summer job. Conditional offers will be offered during event days.

Pool Details: 


Main Pool
• 25 meters long, 8 lanes wide
• depth ranges from 3.5 -12 ft.
• 3 meter high dive 
• 1 meter diving board
• plunge slide
• approximately 82 degrees

Leisure Pool
• 20 yards long, 6 lanes wide
• consistent 3 ft. depth
• approximately 84 degrees

Water Playground
• great for younger kids
• zero depth
• 2 water slides & water fountains

Lessons
Spring 2024 swim lessons are now open for registration at Utah Pool and City of Aurora Recreation Centers. Classes are available for a variety of ages and swimming abilities. If you are not sure which class to sign your child up for, please see our swim levels! Early registration is encouraged: class size is limited and spaces fill up quickly!

Adult swim will be called the last 10 minutes of every hour of family and open swim. All swimmers under the age of 18 must exit all bodies of water for 10 minutes. 


*For the safety of children, please note that children 6 years and under must be supervised and within arms reach, in the water, by a guardian 18 years or older.*
