Aurora History Museum Collections and Archive

The Aurora History Museum collects objects mainly from Aurora and the surrounding area. The collections number close to 25,000 objects and includes everything from photographic equipment to appliances to decorative and fine arts. Current and past Aurora residents donated many of the objects.

The digitization of Aurora's newspapers for the Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection is supported in part by an award from the Colorado State Historical Records Advisory Board, through funding from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC), National Archives and Records Administration.

Donate to this ongoing digitization project and help preserve Aurora's history. For more information visit,
