Commitment to Care

Aurora Commitment to Care image with an icon of a box with food

The Commitment to Care initiative, a partnership between the city of Aurora and local nonprofit organizations, provides food and resources to the community in response to the COVID-19 crisis. The initiative is composed of seven food access programs that welcome all Aurora community members. There is no cost for food or resources. Find full program details and additional information below.

Aside from providing food and resources, the Commitment to Care initiative also offers various volunteer opportunities for community members. From sorting and bagging groceries, to distributing food at events throughout the community, volunteers provide a wide range of needed support. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old with parental/guardian consent for those younger than 18. Group volunteer opportunities are also available. Contact information for volunteer opportunities is provided below.
