Community Spirit Awards

City of Aurora Volunteer CenterThe city of Aurora needs your help to recognize and celebrate community volunteers who have made Aurora a great place to call home. The Community Spirit Awards, which can be received by individuals, organizations and businesses, are presented to those who demonstrate ongoing leadership, a commitment to volunteerism and involvement in our community.

Nominations are being accepted in nine categories, including Youth Volunteer of the Year, Service Member of the Year, Community Partner of the Year, and the city’s highest volunteer honor, Community Leader of the Year. Refer to the nomination guide for complete details. Nominations must be received by Wednesday, March 18, at 5 p.m., by emailing the nomination form to jnichola@auroragov.org or dropping it off/mailing it to: Community Spirit Awards Nominations, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway, Suite 4500, Aurora, CO 80012.

The Community Spirit Awards will be on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at the Aurora Municipal Center. The volunteer reception will be at 5:30 p.m., and the award ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
