Important Reminders Leading Up to Election Day
Posted on 10/12/2020

This year’s statewide general election is coming up Nov. 3, and the counties will mail ballots to active registered voters starting the week of Oct. 9.

Please check your voter registration at GoVoteColorado.com. Make sure that your residential address and your ballot mailing address are current. Ballots are not forwarded by the Postal Service, even if you have completed a Change of Address request with the Post Office after moving to a new home.

The deadline to register to vote or update your registration online or by mail and receive a ballot by mail is Monday, Oct. 26. After this date, you should visit a Voter Service and Polling Center to register to vote and request a ballot. Ballots may be returned by mail with paid postage or delivered to any one of the ballot drop-off locations in your county.

Ballots must be received by 7 p.m. Election Day Nov. 3 to be counted.
If you prefer to handle things in person, please visit a Voter Service and Polling Center to register to vote, update your registration, replace or request a ballot (curbside pickup is available), or vote on an accessible voting machine. Phase 1 VSPCs will open Oct. 19 and Phase 2 centers open on Oct. 30. All VSPCs are open until 7 p.m. on Nov. 3.

For voter resources, visit ArapahoeVotes.com, AdamsVotes.com or DouglasVotes.com depending on the county in which you live.
