
The city is hosting a free four-part webinar for non-English-speaking residents to prepare them to communicate in English during an emergency.
The series will walk participants through how to contact and communicate with first responders for the most common medical-, trauma-, police- and fire-related emergencies.
The live webinar series will answer questions from the audience as well as provide emergency pre-plan worksheets to prepare in case of an emergency.
The webinar schedule is as follows:
March 3, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.: English for Medical Emergencies
March 17, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.: English for Traumatic Emergencies
March 31, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.: English for Police Emergencies
April 14, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.: English for Fire Emergencies
