The Aurora City Council will return to in-person attendance at regular council meetings beginning Monday, Nov. 22. The council has been meeting via teleconference since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

With public health in mind, we will limit the number of people in the Aurora City Council Chamber to the Mayor, City Council Members, key city staff and presenters of items on the agenda. The public will be able to provide public comment during the meetings by calling 855.695.3475 and pressing *3 to reach the operator.

The meetings will be aired on AuroraTV.org, Comcast 8/880 and the city’s YouTube channel, with audio also available via the call-in line at 855.695.3475. Study sessions and policy committee meetings will continue to take place remotely until further notice.

As with all COVID protocols, this situation will continue to be monitored and adjusted as conditions dictate. We are mindful of the current number of cases and will continue to be thoughtful and cautious about the potential impacts to staff and the public by indoor, in-person gatherings.

More information on council meetings, including meeting agendas, can be found at AuroraGov.org/CouncilMeetings.
