Make the difference in your neighborhood!

Become a volunteer steward of Aurora’s city Parks. Enjoy the outdoors and connect with your neighbors and area wildlife as you work to improve the quality of life in Aurora – creating healthy environments for people, nature and community. We provide training, supplies and ongoing support. No experience required - you just need to sign up and pass a background check (that we pay for) and you’re good to go!

Adopt a Neighborhood Park

Serving as a volunteer Park Steward is a great way to promote community pride and improve park aesthetics and safety. Park Stewards participate in graffiti busting, trash pick-up, tree and flower bed care, playground safety monitoring and trail upkeep in parks throughout the city.
