Water-wise landscaping is sustainable and drought tolerant, which maximizes outdoor water efficiency by using low-water plants. When compared to a traditional grass landscape, which needs 28 inches of supplemental water each year, low-water landscapes typically thrives with a third as much water. It can also require less maintenance than a lawn.
Aurora Water customers interested in converting a healthy grass lawn to low-water use landscaping may be eligible for a rebate.
Low-water use landscape rebate applicants are eligible for up to $3,000 in rebates.
Z-Zone, which requires no supplemental watering after plant establishment, rebate applicants can get up to $4,500 in rebates.
