Aurora Creates: History & Arts Worth Discovering
Subscribers to the former "Cultural Quarterly Newsletter" and "Your Guide to Aurora's Cultural Events" will notice a change as the Cultural Services Division just published its new concept, Aurora Creates, a magazine-style publication that provides you with more information about the many exciting arts and cultural programs and activities in Aurora. When you receive your email notification five times per year, you will now be connected to the "Aurora Creates: History & Arts Worth Discovering." Paper copies of this publication also are available in all city-owned arts facilities, libraries, recreation centers and at Access Aurora window in the Aurora Municipal Center.

21st Annual Gateway to the Rockies Art Show

The 2015 Gateway to the Rockies Art Show welcomed 208 entries, 102 photographs, 76 two dimensional pieces and 30 miniatures.
Of these entries, 74 photographs, 64 two dimensional pieces and 20 miniatures were selected for the show. Two hundred and seventy-five people attended the opening night reception and award ceremony and 1,719 people visited the exhibit. This represents and 30 percent increase in attendance compared to the 2014 show.

Rent the Show Wagon
The Show Wagon is a portable stage on wheels and is perfect for concerts, special events, church events, performances. The wagon is available from April through October to rent.
Community Art is a program that engages residents in creating art for the common purpose to enhance the neighborhood. Original Aurora Renewal (OAR) has spearheaded four community art projects over the years in the Aurora Cultural Arts District.
