Currently, all Aurora Public Libraries have Curbside Service available.
When can I pick up my holds?
You'll receive an email when your items is ready to pickup. Curbside service hours vary at each location:
How many items can I check out at a time:
You can have up to 60 items checked out on your library card at a time. You are limited to 30 DVDs at a time.
How long can I borrow these items?
Books, Audio Books and CDs can be checked out for 3 weeks. DVDs are checked out for 1 week.
Can I return items at the curbside service table?
Please return ALL items in the book returns, and do not leave on the curbside service table. All returned items are quarantined for up to 4 days; please help us keep our staff and community safe.
You're quarantining library materials?
For the safety of our staff and community, all items returned to the library are being quarantined up to 4 days before they are checked in by staff, and available for the public to check out.
Will items in quarantine go overdue or be fined?
Items returned will not be considered overdue, nor will they collect fines during the quarantine period. Should you have any concerns with your account, please call 303.739.6630.
Do I need my library card?
Yes, to pick up items you will need your library card number. If you do not know your library card number, we are happy to get you a temporary card that will allow you access to all of our virtual materials. Please email aplreference@auroragov.org with any requests.
What if I don’t have a card?
Visit our Virtual Library Card page to get a card that will give you access to our digital collection of books, audiobooks, movies, music, and more!
What if I don't have a car?
When you get to the library, call the number on our poster, and stand at least 6' away from the drop-off station. Once the staff member re-enters the library after dropping off your books, you can retrieve the items from the table.
What if I don't have a cell phone?
When staff calls to let you know that your items are ready for pickup, make sure you tell them the specific time and date you'd like to come, and the make and color of your car. We'll keep an eye out for your arrival!
