Aurora Animal Shelter
Until further notice, the Aurora Animal Shelter is closed to the public and is not accepting strays or owner surrenders. People who are looking to turn in a stray or surrender an animal are encouraged to contact other area shelters to see whether they are accepting animals at this time. For people interested in adopting an animal from the Aurora Animal Shelter, go to AuroraGov.org/Animal to view available animals and then contact the shelter to set up an appointment.
