The Aurora Police Department, Aurora for Youth, and Aurora Office of International and Immigrant Affairs are excited to announce the 2022 Global Teen Police Academy.

Youth interested in law enforcement can learn more about the daily functions of the Aurora Police Department and what police officers do, through a series of interactive daily classes. The Global Teen Police Academy is open to students who are at least 14 years old. Classes will be held over a two-week period, with daily morning (8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) or afternoon (1 to 5:30 p.m.) sessions mostly at the Aurora Municipal Center. There is no cost to anyone who enrolls.

There are two sessions of the 2022 Global Teen Police Academy scheduled, each with morning or afternoon classes:

  • June 6-17 (graduation on June 18)
  • July 11-22 (graduation on July 23)

Applications are accepted on a continual basis, and applicants will be notified of class availability when applications are received.

Learn more about the program and find downloadable applications online. For more information, contact Community Engagement Coordinator Aruny Phanekham at [email protected] or 303.739.7281.
